On June 25, the Guangzhou Municipal Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology announced the discovery of the cultural remains of the Shang Dynasty at the Zhuyuanling site in Huangpu district in Guangzhou. After archaeological exploration and excavation, it was confirmed that the distribution range of the relics of the Shang period at the site was about 80,000 square meters, with a core area of about 15,000 square meters. According to the person in charge, this is the largest site of the Shang Dynasty discovered in the Pearl River Delta region to date.

广州黄埔竹园岭遗址发现商时期文化遗存

6月25日，记者从广州市文物考古研究院获悉，广州黄埔竹园岭遗址发现商时期文化遗存，经考古勘探发掘确认，竹园岭遗址商时期遗存分布范围约8万平方米，核心区域分布范围约1.5万平方米。相关负责人介绍，该遗址是目前珠江三角洲地区考古发现确认的面积最大的商时期遗址。
